I Need a Magnet!

How do magnets attract? How do magets repel? Do magnets always attract? What process can I use to solve a problem?

​Appropriate age/skill level: 3rd grade
Expected time to complete: 1 hour

Materials

Magnets, card stock, cardboard, craft sticks, glue, tape, paper rolls, dry rice crispies, magnetic toy, steel nuts, gutter, screws, and steel washers

​Procedure
​Students design and execute solutions to a simple problem using magnets.
